1. Introduction

CareBridge Academy is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive and professional learning environment for all learners, participants and individuals engaging with our services. This Learner Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour and expectations required when accessing online training, workshops, employability programmes and associated activities delivered by CareBridge Academy.

The purpose of this policy is to promote respectful participation, protect learner wellbeing and maintain positive learning environments that support engagement, inclusion and professional conduct.

This policy applies to all learners, workshop participants, visitors and individuals accessing CareBridge Academy services.

This policy was formally reviewed and reassessed on 9 June 2026.


2. Professional Behaviour Expectations

Learners are expected to behave respectfully, professionally and appropriately at all times when engaging with CareBridge Academy services, online learning systems, live workshops, communication platforms or associated activities.

All individuals are expected to:

  • Treat others with dignity, fairness and respect

  • Communicate appropriately and professionally

  • Respect differing backgrounds, opinions and experiences

  • Contribute positively towards a safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Follow reasonable instructions provided during workshops or learning activities

  • Use online systems responsibly and appropriately

CareBridge Academy promotes a zero-tolerance approach towards bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, abusive behaviour or inappropriate conduct.


3. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

CareBridge Academy is committed to maintaining inclusive and respectful learning environments in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Discriminatory language, hate-related behaviour, harassment, victimisation or conduct relating to protected characteristics will not be tolerated. Learners are expected to respect diversity and contribute positively towards inclusive participation across all services and activities.

Any concerns relating to inappropriate behaviour, discrimination or harassment should be reported to CareBridge Academy as soon as possible.


4. Online Learning and Digital Conduct

As an online training provider, CareBridge Academy expects learners to maintain appropriate behaviour during all online interactions, live sessions, workshops and digital communications.

Learners must not:

  • Share inappropriate, offensive or abusive content

  • Disrupt live sessions intentionally

  • Use threatening or discriminatory language

  • Record, reproduce or distribute sessions without permission

  • Share learner accounts or login details

  • Misuse online systems or communication platforms

CareBridge Academy reserves the right to remove individuals from online sessions where behaviour is considered inappropriate, disruptive or unsafe.


5. Safeguarding and Wellbeing

CareBridge Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of all learners and participants.

Learners are encouraged to raise safeguarding, welfare or wellbeing concerns where they feel unsafe, uncomfortable or concerned about themselves or another individual.

All safeguarding concerns will be reviewed appropriately, sensitively and in accordance with CareBridge Academy safeguarding procedures.


6. Attendance and Participation

Learners are encouraged to engage positively with learning activities, attend sessions punctually where applicable and participate respectfully within workshops and online learning environments.

CareBridge Academy recognises that individual circumstances may affect participation and encourages communication where support or flexibility may be required.


7. Confidentiality and Privacy

Learners are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of other learners, participants and individuals engaging with CareBridge Academy services.

Personal information, discussions or shared experiences disclosed during sessions should not be shared externally without consent unless safeguarding or legal obligations apply.

Learners must also comply with applicable privacy, copyright and data protection requirements relating to course materials and online systems.


8. Intellectual Property and Course Materials

All training materials, workbooks, presentations, videos, digital resources and associated content remain the intellectual property of CareBridge Academy™ unless otherwise stated.

Learners must not copy, reproduce, distribute, record, share or resell materials without prior written permission.

Access to learning materials is provided solely for the registered learner and must not be shared with third parties.


9. Breaches of the Code of Conduct

Where behaviour is considered inappropriate, unsafe, discriminatory, abusive or in breach of this Code of Conduct, CareBridge Academy reserves the right to:

  • Issue warnings

  • Restrict access to services

  • Remove individuals from sessions

  • Suspend or terminate course access

  • Report concerns where safeguarding or legal obligations arise

Serious breaches may result in immediate removal from services without refund where appropriate.


10. Raising Concerns or Complaints

Individuals who wish to raise concerns regarding learner behaviour, conduct or experiences may contact CareBridge Academy directly.

Concerns will be reviewed appropriately and handled professionally, proportionately and confidentially where reasonably possible.


11. Policy Review

CareBridge Academy reserves the right to review, amend or update this Learner Code of Conduct periodically to reflect operational developments, safeguarding requirements, legislative updates or organisational changes.

The most recent version of this policy will remain available via the CareBridge Academy website.
