CareBridge Academy’s Future Readiness Workshops are designed to support young people aged 13-15 in developing confidence, communication skills and practical life skills that can support future progression into further education, employability pathways, apprenticeships and future careers. The workshops aim to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where young people can begin exploring professionalism, teamwork, presentation skills, goal setting and workplace awareness in a way that feels engaging, accessible and age appropriate. Many young people possess excellent abilities and potential but may lack confidence in social communication, professional interaction or understanding future pathways. The workshops are designed to help bridge this gap by focusing on personal development, confidence building and practical future-readiness skills rather than formal academic learning.
Through interactive online sessions, learners will have opportunities to develop communication and presentation skills, explore digital and professional skills, understand workplace expectations and begin thinking positively about their future goals and aspirations. The workshops are centred around encouragement, confidence and progression, helping young people recognise their strengths and build belief in their own abilities. CareBridge Academy believes early intervention and confidence-building support can play an important role in helping young people feel more prepared for adulthood, future opportunities and ongoing personal development. The workshops are intended to complement home education journeys by providing practical, future-focused experiences in a flexible and supportive environment.
